November 14, 2024 – Supercross BMX is thrilled to announce the return of two-time Olympic gold medalist and BMX legend, Maris Strombergs, as he re-signs with the team for the upcoming season. Strombergs, widely celebrated as one of the most accomplished riders in BMX history, will join forces with fellow icon Bubba Harris to co-captain the Supercross BMX racing team.
A monumental figure in the sport, Strombergs’ legacy is marked by his unprecedented achievements. As the first-ever BMX racer to win two Olympic gold medals (2008 and 2012), his career includes multiple world championships, numerous podium finishes, and a relentless dedication that has inspired riders worldwide. Maris’s return to Supercross BMX represents a reunion of two forces committed to driving the sport forward.
Joining Strombergs as co-captain, Bubba Harris is an icon in his own right, with a decorated career that includes three consecutive ABA National #1 Pro titles. Grands Roundup
Well now that we have had a week to get back home and relax and recharge the batteries we now can finally look back at an amazing Tulsa 2023 USABMX Grand Nationals. It is always a great time at the grands because more often than not you will see a who is who of BMX royalty and a few new faces usually can leave long lasting impressions. With this being the end all season culmination race it was destined to be a statement event for some and a coming out party for others.
