Rock Hill Roundup!

2 min read

Your favorite Supercross riders made the trek out to Rock Hill this past weekend and made the most of last chance points available for the end of the USABMX regular season series with wins all around!

KJ Romero a top 5 nominee for Golden Crank pro of the year had vowed early in the season to bring back the Vet title chase and with another big win on his home turn he has closed the gap to give himself a narrow shot at the title. We aren't math wizards but with a win at grands and a less than stellar showing by current points leader Barry Nobles your newest title holder could very well be KJ. I for one will not be missing out watching vet semis as the Grands usually produces a few crazy mishaps and this will be a close title chase.

Another SX rider who was atop the box all weekend was Scoooooooops Sequoia Gomolicke who bested the expert ladies and picked up a few extra points to pad her NAG points and will go in sitting #2 with a grands win can also be the champion.

One of the most coveted races that older ams gun for all year is the NAG 5 challenge and Josh White as well as Gaige Gomolicke who also snagged another win in Rock Hill will be representing at the Grands so lets make sure to cheer them on as they enter the night show!

Last but never least Cole Train narrowly missed a podium Sunday with a 4th place finish and with pro points revamped this year in the elite class those finishes will keep stacking up. Be on the lookout for the entire Supercross Factory team all week in Tulsa at the team pits where we have swag all weekend long and a chance to chat with your favorite Supercross ambassadors. Next up is Turkey in Tulsa and we will see you there!

When we think of Florida and the kickoff to a new season of racing naturally we think sunny weather and fast paced race action right? Well mother nature had a different idea and the sun was elusive and nowhere near as bright as the debuts for a few new faces and some familiar faces in new classes.
