The Supercross EVO G6 was our most popular aluminum race frame a few years ago. We took that legendary frame and turned it into the affordable EVO iS series that continues to be one of the most popular Aluminum Race frames in the sport. Some people had asked us to return the G6 to our line up of frames but we saw no reason as the EVO iS was the same bike but at a much more affordable price point than the EVO G6. Well while we were working with Easton® on our Supercross EVO S7 Superframe we were introduced to a new alloy that Easton® had been working on, the EA6X alloy. Basically a super version of a 6061. So we played around with it, built a few prototypes and found it was a great alloy that was stronger than a regular 6061 alloy but not quite as light as the Scandium alloy we use on the S7, so it hit us. Bring back the EVO G6 in an enhanced version, hence the G6e name.
The EVO G6e uses the same World Championship winning Geometry of all our Supercross race frames and uses a few of the same custom tube shapes of our EVO S7 frame, but in the Easton EA6X alloy instead of Scandium. So with that we ended up with a more affordable version of the S7. It's not quite as light as the S7, but lighter and stronger than any other full aluminum race frame on the market today. Currently we are offering the EVO G6e in 5 sizes. Expert XXL ( 21" TT), Pro ( 20.5" TT ), Pro XL ( 21.25" TT ) Pro XXL ( 21.75" TT ) and Pro Cruiser ( 21.5" TT ) All 5 sizes use a 1 1/8" Headtube with a 27.2 post and a 1 1/4" ( 31.8mm ) clamp.
These frames are currently available in solid colors only. We also have a few limited edition Anodized frames. Please call for availability on the Anodized frames as when they are gone, they are gone.
